You blew through me like bullet holes. Left stains on my sheets and stains on my soul.

I've decided that vanilla lactose-free ice cream with strawberry slices is the best thing in existence. Nothing else matters tonight.

I think that all of you should go and listen to this cover right now.
It's a cover of Bon Iver's song Skinny Love, by Birdy.

First week of vegetarianism is officially complete.

I also begin volunteer visual merchandising at Urban Planet tomorrow. I'm just thrilled to be getting some experience before I start school at Blanche. Crossin' my fingers for a letter of recommendation headed my way.

I also have yet another interview tomorrow. Nobody wants to hire me because I'm leaving in less than three months. Honesty is supposed to be a good quality, yet it's consistently kicking me in the ass lately. If I hear "We're really interested in you, and you sound like you'd do good, but... you're leaving" one more time, I'm going to blow my lid. Rant finished.

an update of sorts for you dear

The more and more time flows by me, the more excited I truly am to be moving to Vancouver. This long, wasted year is finally almost over. I feel guilty putting it that way, since I'm the only one at fault for wasting such precious time. I've just become so much more motivated with my move so near. I can't wait to put my hair down and walk through a real city and just soak up the noise. I'm going to be busy and I need that.

I'm currently on the hunt for a second part-time job, trying to save as much scrill as I can before moving. Some other news: I also officially became a vegetarian today. I've never enjoyed meat, other than seafood, so it just didn't make any sense for me not to be. I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing or long-term yet. I just want to try it out and see how I feel.

dull days

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, guys. I haven't felt very creative or thoughtful these past couple weeks. I've just been rummaging around in my own head.

There's been some good times, some bad times, some boring times.

Let's talk about the good times. As of today, my boyfriend and I have been together two and a half years. I also had a surprise visit from some lovely company. It was a short, party filled visit but it definitely made up for those earlier boring days. I'm also looking for a second part-time job to save up for school and living in Vancouver next year. I finished "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro this week. I recommend all of you to read it, it was amazing. I'll be watching the film later tonight.

As for Easter weekend, I'm looking forward to making extra dough on Good Friday and going out of town to see friends and family for the rest. Sweet.

I'm welcoming in loneliness with open arms.
I can't wait to leave this place. I need to start living my life for me.
